BASIC JOB DUTIES
- Develop integration modules for interacting with new systems and applications
- Actively participate in resolving users’ problems in a timely manner
- Develop and produce assigned software components according to project timelines and specifications
- Create and conduct software and executable tests, continuously integrating code into the overall software framework
- Review current software to identify defects and opportunities to improve performance and stability
- Maintain and enhance existing software to address strategic business development needs, as well as, to improve the software
- Research technical strategies, third party tools, and current and new technologies to deal with emerging technical issues and improve development efficiency
- Design documents as needed
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
In performing their duties, the employee is responsible for:
- The quality of the work performed
- Adherence to professional obligations and ethics
- Protection of commercial and production secret
- Keeping in good technical condition of the equipment entrusted to him (computer, printer, scanner, etc.)
- Care of the assignments submitted to him, output data, and other documents
- The proper functioning of the developed and implemented software products
- Compliance with the established health and safety rules in the company and the fire safety rules
- Any damages resulting from a breach of terms
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP:
- This position reports directly to the Country Director
- While on duty, performs organizational relationships with the project manager, supervisors, specialists and staff from all departments
- Liaises with managers and specialist from other companies, firms, government institutions and organizations in connection with the work performed
COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS FOR EFFECTIVE JOB PERFORMANCE:
- At least 3 years’ experience with Temenos T24
- Experience with one of the popular version control systems – Git, SVN, CVS
- Good understanding of business processes and good communication skills
- Very good English
- Bachelor degree in the field of informatics or similar
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/COMPETENCIES:
- Knowledge of T24 database architecture and design
- Understanding or Exposure to T24 (Temenos) application is must
- Exposure and experience in local development
- Data migration experience.
- OFS & bulk upload
- Good understanding of TCServer and listeners/adapter functionality
- Good understanding of TOCF(EE)/TOCF.NET functionality
- Working knowledge of Linux environments - Deployments (tools, processes and procedures)
- A commitment to quality and a thorough approach to the work
- General Business practice for Banking to understand the business requirement in technical terms
- R12/R13 upgrade experience
- T24 upgrade experience in live environment
- Webservices experience
- Deep knowledge of TAFC architecture and design
- High availability and Disaster Recovery exposure
- Knowledge and experience on DBMS jBase, Oracle or MS SQL. Experience in Globus/T24
REQUIREMENTS:
- Available to start IMMEDIATELY
- Able to travel locally and internationally
- Candidate must possess a college degree or equivalent experience
- Preferably with minimum of 5 year experience in related field or 3 years if experience includes banking and/or delivery channels
- Must be resourceful, highly organized and keen with details
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Excellent communication skills
- Can work with minimal supervision
